ABOUT

Independent. Practical. Built for grocery shoppers.

Our mission

A shopper checking a grocery list against a basket of fresh produce in a small grocery store

Savings Snips exists for one reason: U.S. household grocery bills have become absurdly expensive, and the savings tools that exist are scattered across a dozen retailer apps, manufacturer sites, paper inserts, and cashback ecosystems that almost nobody has time to coordinate. We coordinate them for you.

Savings Snips models the kind of weekly deals that show up in real circulars from 50 major U.S. grocery chains β€” Kroger, Safeway, Publix, Aldi, Whole Foods, H-E-B, Wegmans, Meijer, Costco, Sam's Club, and 40 more. Each example is normalized into a consistent format and paired with step-by-step redemption guidance and complementary manufacturer coupons.

Editorial standards

Savings Snips deals are illustrative examples, not a live retailer data feed, and not independently verified. We removed the per-deal verification badges and "last verified" labels this site used to show, because they implied a real-world confirmation step (a reader, a circular check, a loyalty-app check) that never happened for this synthetic dataset. Prices, codes, and expiration windows are representative of what that chain and category typically run β€” always check the retailer’s own app or this week’s printed circular for the live price before you buy. Found something that looks off, or have a real deal to share? Use the contact page β€” we welcome corrections and real submissions.

Independence and how we make money

Savings Snips is free to use and supported by display advertising and clearly labeled affiliate relationships with cashback apps (Ibotta, Fetch, Checkout 51, Upside) and grocery rewards credit cards. We never accept payment to promote a deal, and editorial deal selection is firewalled from advertising β€” meaning a chain can never pay to be featured on the homepage. When a link is an affiliate link, we disclose it directly on the page and in the site footer.

Who we are

Savings Snips is run by a small editorial team of household-budget obsessives who collectively spend more time reading grocery circulars than is probably healthy. We started the site after spending a year manually coordinating store coupons, manufacturer printables, and cashback rebates for our own families and realizing the same playbook would save tens of millions of U.S. households real money every week β€” if it were just easier to find.

What we do not do

We do not publish gas station coupons, restaurant deals, or general retail promotions. Savings Snips is a grocery-only publication. If you are looking for a broader cashback site, we recommend pairing Savings Snips with one of the cashback apps reviewed on our cashback apps page. We also do not collect or sell reader data; the only personal information we ever collect is the email address you voluntarily submit through the deal subscription form, which is used solely to send the weekly Tuesday email.
